Time to do a mindset shift about self-love and kindness towards yourself
Happy February!
February is a time for love, not only for loving others, but for loving yourself. It is International Boost Your Self Esteem Month, Feb. 7th is Send a Card to A Friend Day, Feb. 11th is Make a Friend Day, Feb. 14th is Valentine's Day and Feb. 17th is Random Acts of Kindness Day.
It is a time to reflect on how you can better love yourself, take time to figure out why you are in need of healing and move forward to take steps to heal.
It is a time to say, I deserve love and do something about it.

One of the biggest lessons I learned during my healing journey was that I had to love and care enough about myself to put everything aside and spend all my time taking care of me. I needed to switch my mindset to knowing that taking care of myself was not selfish and it was what I had to do. I needed this mindset adjustment to accept that I was not able to do everything on my own. I didn't have the energy and the chemo took a toll on my energy level, as did healing and releasing the cancer. I had to step out of my comfort zone and ask for help. Usually, I was the one helping others and this was a hurdle I needed to overcome and I did. I am so very grateful and I learned that it made life a whole lot easier.
When was the last time you took time to listen to your body and what it really needed?
When was the last time you did something fun just for yourself?
When was the last time you looked in the mirror, looked right into your own eyes and told yourself "I love you?"
Now is a great time to make yourself a priority. Take time out for self-love and self care. Meditate and reflect on what you really need for yourself. Write down what comes up for you and then write and take the action steps that will move you forward.
